Join our state-licensed apprenticeship program in partnership with Atarashi Apprenticeship Program—a cost-effective alternative to traditional beauty school. Gain real salon experience while training under seasoned professionals. We only require applicants to have experience in customer service!
Already a licensed beauty school graduate? Our Assistant Program is designed to prepare you for the salon floor with in-depth training in curly hair cutting and color services. Requires a cosmetology or hairstyling license from the State of Arizona

Stylists typically work 30 hours per week and enjoy paid time off, along with unlimited unpaid time off with prior notice.

Our FREE In-Salon Education offers one-on-one mentorship or classes with the team. Curls Gone Wild offers financial support for external education, up to a certain amount.

We offer two pathways: our Apprenticeship Program (no beauty school required) and our Assistant Program for licensed stylists. Whether you’re just starting out or already licensed, a passion for curly hair, great work ethic, and willingness to learn are what matter most to us.
You’ll receive hands-on, in-salon training in curly cutting techniques, color services, and product knowledge—led by experienced curl educators. Our goal is to help you build both confidence and expertise so you can thrive behind the chair.
